His experience working in the game and animation industry as a visual development artist, production artist, illustrator, art director, texture artist and modeler have informed his understanding of art production for games and animation. His current interests are related to design aesthetics, visual appeal, and modular purpose-led, principle-based approaches to design and animation.

He has worked on a variety of game and animation projects in his career and taught in game and animation programs at Seneca, Centennial and Durham College before joining the university.
