Garrett Hayes is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Bachelor of Information Technology program at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. His focus areas include: 

  • computer and network security
  • industrial control system security
  • cloud, software-defined data centres, and virtualization technologies
  • applied mathematics
  • blockchain technologies

In addition to his teaching duties, he is responsible for designing, deploying and managing the faculty’s Hacker Research Lab and private cloud.

Hayes received his Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. He also holds the Offensive Security Certified Professional designation.
